Stephen Powers
Stephen Powers is an artist from New York City who specialises in graffiti and graphic lettering. He was an important influence on graffiti moving to the streets however stopped in the late 90’s. He abandoned his previous work to become a full time studio artist where he created art on metal, where he specialised in sign painting.
Stephen Powers focused mostly on creating murals around the world, which were like love letters to different cities. This mural project was mainly based in Philadelphia and let people know about the rewards of relationship.
Powers began painting a series of large-scale murals whether permanent and temporary in Baltimore.

I personally like the way Stephen Powers uses one piece of text as the centre of his design. This limits the focus of the people who look at his designs as their attention is mainly on that.
Powers usually uses similar text, fonts and colours in all of his designs to identify it as his work. Like Ed Fella, Stephen Powers also has a lot of relation between each of his lettering designs.
